Li Xiuying  

Li Xiuying studied at the Music College of Shandong Normal University, Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Tel Aviv International Vocal Arts Institute in Israel, Cagliari Academy in Italy, and Mannes School of Music in New York, USA, obtaining a diploma as a performing artist. She has won several awards in international and domestic vocal competitions. These include the gold award at the “China Broadcasting Newcomer New Song Competition” in 1995, the second prize at the “Fourth International Budapest Opera Competition” in September 1998, and second place at the “55th Viotti International Opera Singing Competition” held in Italy in October 2004. She has signed contracts to play leading roles in operas with many opera houses in Europe and America.
