Dai Yuqiang

Dai Yuqiang is a tenor singer. He is a Visiting Researcher at the Opera Research Institute of Peking University, a Part-time Professor at Yangzhou University, and a Visiting Professor of Art Guidance at Hebei University of Technology. He has served in the Opera Troupe of the General Political Department of the People’s Liberation Army of China. He has been honored with the second prize in the Bel Canto Group of the First National Vocal Competition by the Ministry of Culture, first place in the International Opera Competition in Shizuoka, Japan, and the first prize in drama performance at the 7th National Military Arts Festival. He won the Male Actor Award of the Chinese Golden Record for “You Are Such a Person,” the “Chinese Drama Plum Blossom Award” in 2004, the Performance Award of the 12th Wenhua Award by the Ministry of Culture, and the “Five-One Project” Award of the 12th Central Propaganda Department for Spiritual Civilization Construction. In July 2016, he became a “Mars Ambassador” for China.
