Liao Changyong

Liao Changyong is the President and Professor at Shanghai Conservatory of Music and Vice Chairman of the China Musicians Association. He also serves as Chairman of the Shanghai Musicians Association, Dean of Shanghai Opera House, and holds key positions in various national and regional cultural and educational committees. As a member of the Thirteenth National People’s Congress and several advisory bodies, he plays a significant role in arts and education policymaking. Recognized as a leading talent in philosophy and social sciences under China’s National “Ten Thousand Talents” program, he continues to influence the development of music and performing arts in China.
