
Wang Ge

Graduated from Beijing Dance Academy, Wang Ge has served as a judge for the ninth “Lotus Award” Dance Drama·Dance Poetry competition and was appointed as one of the first mentors of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Art Research Institute in 2014. He holds a guest professorship at the College of Music, Liaoning Normal University. In 2017, he was honored with the title of Cultural Celebrity and “Four Batches” talent. He has created musicals such as “I am Sichuan Army”, and dances like “Thousand Reds”, “Peach Blush”, “Father”, “Chinese Mother”, “Premature”, “Eternal Regret”, “Grandma’s Happy Life”, “Han Palace Autumn Moon”, and “Phoenix Mourning”. His dance dramas include “Arcade Evening Wind”, “Hui Troupe”, “Red Sorghum”, “Norma Ami”, “Road to Heaven”, “East Wing”, “Da Yu”, “Singing the Motherland”, “Five Stars Rise from the East”, and “Flag” among others. He has won numerous awards including the Five One Project Award, Wenhua Award, Lotus Award, CCTV Dance Competition, Peach and Plum Cup, National Dance Competition, and other types of major awards. He served as the vice-chairman of the eleventh China Dancers Association and was selected as the fifth National Middle-Aged and Young Morally and Artistically Double-Excellent Literary and Art Worker in 2022.
